Velvet
Shoes that are made with velvet need to be looked after very carefully. It is essential that they are kept in an airy place and away from water. Water is very harmful on velvet, because the nap will be ruined if it gets wet. Remember to never wear the shoes out on bad weather days.
Since velvet shoes cannot come in contact with water, the only ways to clean them are to either wipe them with a dry cloth or brush them with a suede brush.
